Refund Policy
Billing
Payment Methods
We accept payment by Credit Card, Venmo, or bank transfer. We hold bank accounts in various currencies to make international transfers simple for you. For our bank details please click here. Please identify your transfer with your first and last name, and notify us by email by what method you paid us.
Remainder Payment
Full payment for all programs must be received no later than 60 days before the program start date to hold your spot. In the case of any bookings made after this date, payment must be made in full at the time of registration. In the days leading up to the final payment date, you will receive an automated email reminder to complete your payment. If we do not receive your payment on time, your spot will be made available to those on the waitlist and you will forfeit your deposit. All retreat and training payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Insurance
Travel Cancellation Insurance
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat or training, but unexpected things do happen, some of which are beyond your control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover any possible loss. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
Refunds
Cancellation Policy
All retreat and training payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is your responsibility to ensure you can attend the program before signing up. It is also your responsibility to purchase travel cancellation insurance.
Due to the non-recoverable payments that we make in advance to various parties to plan these programs, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, travel bans, inclement weather, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, covid 19, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat or training due to unforeseen circumstances of any nature, retreat and training fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
Your Deposit
Retreat and training deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is your responsibility to ensure you can attend the program before placing your deposit. It is also your responsibility to purchase travel cancellation insurance. In the rare case that we do not accept you into our program, we will immediately notify you and refund your deposit.
Cancelled or Postponed Programs
If we cancel or postpone the program for any reason, we will refund your full payment immediately. The Sacred Fig is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed retreat or training, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and any/all other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.
There is no cancellation nor refund for any reason including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat or training due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, retreat and training fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from any program if their behavior is disruptive, if they fail to maintain 100% attendance during a training, or lack the skills necessary for participation in the program. Incomplete or inaccurate information on the application may result in dismissal from the program. In the event of dismissal, any refunds of program payment will be at the sole discretion of The Sacred Fig. No refunds will be made for travel, meal or accommodation packages booked.
